Grandma Medley

On Saturday, we arrived home from our cruise around 7:00 pm and were at the funeral home by 7:30.  Although we were tired, it was nice to be surrounded by family and friends.  The funeral was Sunday at St. Francis in Loretto, KY.  The weather was perfect and the setting was so serene.  People visited until 3:30 when the mass started.  It was a beautiful service - a true celebration of a life well lived.  Afterward, we returned to Tony and Carol's where we ate, shared memories, and looked at pictures.  We are so sad that Grandma Medley won't get to meet our little ones, but are very thankful that she knew they are on their way.  We hope that we are loved by our children and grandchildren as Grandma Medley is loved by hers.
